Gasket for Intake Manifold
Gasket with strong steel core should be
used as it prevents movement of the gasket into the intake runner or port.
The
gasket must have anti-stick coating to make gasket removal and cleanup easier,
while preventing gasket failure due to intake manifold and cylinder head
movement. There can be different shape and mounting hole location on gasket as
shown in below figure.
Gasket Hole should be made bigger or oval to accommodate
it, as there are so many mounting points. Different types of assembly hole can
be made on gasket for better fitment and sealing as shown below.
